Last Friday, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the wedding of our fantastic club secretary, James Foley, and his beautiful bride, Julie O’Sullivan. On behalf of everyone at Gurrane Boat Club, we want to wish them both a lifetime of happiness, health, and adventure together.
The celebrations took place at the stunning Jack’s Coastguard Station in Cromane, Co. Kerry — the perfect setting for a day filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing! With the sea just outside and the warmest of company inside, it was a night we’ll all remember fondly.
From Club Secretary to Newlywed
James has been an integral part of our club since the beginning — not just keeping us organised but always leading with dedication, humour, and heart. Seeing him step into this new chapter with Julie by his side was truly special for all of us who know and appreciate his contribution to the club.
A Celebration of Community and Love
Surrounded by family, friends, and club members, the atmosphere was full of joy from start to finish. It was a night that reminded us how lucky we are to be part of a supportive community, on and off the water.
