Well done to all our crews who competed over the weekend at the Valentia and Portmagee regattas. It was another great couple of days of racing, with our U16 boys and Senior Men’s crew bringing home silver in Valentia, and the Senior Men following up with another silver today in Portmagee.
A big thank you to Mike and Aisling for their dedication in coxing and towing the boat to each regatta — your hard work ensures our crews can focus on delivering their best on the water.
This weekend also marked the end of what has been a very enjoyable first season competing on the South Mid Kerry circuit. The spirit, teamwork, and commitment shown by all involved has been fantastic.
Now, attention turns to the big one — the All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships in Antrim next weekend, where we’re proud to have 18 crews representing the club. Best of luck to everyone racing — let’s finish the season on a high!
