Well done to all of our Gurrane crews who competed in the Cahersiveen Regatta on Sunday, 22nd June 2025. It was another brilliant day on the water, with determination and effort shining through from every crew.
A special mention must go to our U16 Boys crew, who brought home more medals and continue to build on an already impressive season. Their focus, strength, and teamwork are a real source of pride for the club.
Our Senior Men’s crew were unfortunately hit with bad luck, breaking an oar early in their race – a tough blow after such a strong start. These things can happen in rowing, but the grit and attitude they showed afterwards was commendable.
We’re back in Cahersiveen next weekend for the Sive Rowing Club Regatta, and we’re looking forward to another great day of coastal rowing. Let’s keep the momentum going – well done, Gurrane!
